This set is cramped full of stars and hits, covering pop, R&B, dance, country and a bit of rock too. There are two live versions Happy (Pharrell Williams) and All of Me (John Legend), plus a special Dark Child version of the very soulful Stay with Me (Sam Smith).
The country song Day Drinking (Little Big Town) is impressive with its whistling and banjo playing. There’s also Sing from Brit boy Ed Sheeran who’s making a wave now with his songs loved by fans all over the world. This song is the grooviest tune of his career. Ariana Grande's Problem is a fun piece and a great dance song. All About the Bass (Meagan Trainor) is a great song that can get you moving your feet though it is slightly overplayed. Dark Horse by Katy Perry is the most sensual song here and a must hear for fans. Lastly Take Me To Church has a groovy spiritual tone with Hozier’s voice commanding an eeriness that is hard to digest. Coldplay’s A sky full of stars is appealing and a sure replay. SIA’s Chandelier is another highlight, while Iggy Azalea featuring Charli XCX on Fancy has good moments. Don’t miss out other tracks by Taylor Swift, Tim McGraw, Pharrell Williams, Miley Cyrus, Beck and Beyonce.
While there are no lyrics to the songs, the booklet that comes as part of the inlay is well produced and informative.
This truly is a fantastic album, with a lot of different styles and being introduced.
