Arguably the most eagerly awaited smash hits album that has tracks you’d hear at every big club in town. From the first track on the album begins with the heart stringing vocals of Ellie Goulding super hit Love me like you do from the soundtrack of ‘50 Shades of Grey’ to the ultimate balladeer of our times Sam Smith signing off with Stay with Me, this album is outstanding by all means.
This compilation then can surely be said to contain selective tracks from the year gone by giving you a playlist of 18 party and a few ballads pieces. Pump up the volume with Justin Beiber with his bassy ‘What do you Mean?’ to Canadian singer The Weeknd with his racy Can’t feel my face. Boy band material comes with 5 Seconds of Summer with the funky She’s Kinda Hot a fairly decent track that is targeted to teens, with the same going for Selena Gomez well timed single Good for You that features ASAP Rocky. Party people would surely rewind to Avicii’s mega hit Waiting for Love or even the repetitious Sun is Shining by Axwell ^ Ingrosso. Most of the tracks here are very much on a DJ’s playlist and tend to wrap their catchy and tasteful electronic sequences around vocals, which wing out some great music.
The very fact that so many top artists come together on this album, speaks more than what you are looking for. But before you go out to grab your copy, don’t forget, this set also has some more party poppers, the club spinner Watch Me (Silento), Shine (Year & Years) to slow stuff like the soulful Let Go (James Bay), Stitches (Shawn Mendes) and Take your Time (Sam Hunt).
This is one musical journey you don’t want to miss. They may not be the absolute latest music as of now, but surely most are still in the spotlight until date. Surely nothing comes closer to this compilation for the moment. The selection here is judicious, rather than definitive living up to the price you pay. A must buy for every music loving fan.
