Valentine’s Day – (Reliance BIG Home Video) - Rs. 599/-

Valentine’s Day is around the corner and the best way to celebrate the event is to watch a movie, what else than ‘Valentine’s Day’.

When you have an amazing star cast of 19 top line actors, you are sure gonna expect a great movie, one that is entertaining and fun to watch. However the plot lacks the pep, as it interweaves each other with sub plots, resulting in a slightly confusing storyline. But despite all the jamboree created, the message at the end is loud and clear. The love quotient that has to be present in any relationship, followed by commitment and honesty. The movie shows you all and also shows you how sometimes Valentine’s Day is not for everyone. Those in love, want to be in love, out of love and the heartbroken this movie is for you. This romantic comedy which comes close to the chick flick ‘He’s just not that into you’, and is a great pick for the college kids. With so many actors, just a few standout for some memorable performances. The music on the other hand is pretty wonderful and keeps you on the groove being very dialogue-centric.

A few of the noticeable plots begin with Ashton Kutcher who proposes to his girlfriend Jessica Alba, who after sometime realize that she’s not ready to begin a relationship. Another story is of Topher Grace who is in a relationship with Anne Hathaway but starts to have reservations when he finds out she moonlights as a phone sex specialist. This is followed by four perky teenagers, Taylor Lautner and Taylor Swift who want to be together all day long, and Emma Roberts and Carter Jenkins who want to go all the way. The next couple is old fogies, Hector Elizando and Shirley MacLaine trying to rekindle the lost love. There’s also Bradley Cooper and Julia Roberts who are stuck on a 14-hour plane ride home. Don’t miss the party at the Indian restaurant and the riot created there. The main finale is finding two characters that really love each other and can stay together.

There is a lot of emotions running through the couples, laughter, smiles and crying… and a lot of love happening out on a day celebrated as Valentine’s Day.
