The Ultimate Thriller – The Michael Jackson Collection (Import)

This month end we pay tribute to the man who gave us so much music during his lifetime with his birth anniversary on 29th August.

This collection packs a lot of the genius of Michael Jackson as well as his tremendous voice range and commitment to his art. This collection is also so full of this artist's range of style and ability to freeze fans with his magic.

This disc set comprises a wonderful selection that spans five decades of work by a remarkable artist. It is a lovely package, which includes Michael Jackson History: The King of Pop 1958 – 2009. This part fatues full length interviews with Janet Jackson, Jermaine Jackson, Quincy Jones, Diano Ross and many more. Michael’s story is told through the eyes of the news, including never before seen footage, wherever he travelled, the cameras followed him, be it every controversy or triumph.

The second feature is on Michael Jackson: Life of a Supertar. This 49 minute film takes a look a at Jackson the turbulant life of Jackson, much myth than from the man really was. Featuring candid converstaions with Janet Jackson, Brooke Sheilds, Quincy Jones, Sheryl Crow, Diano Ross and many more. There’s also some never before seen behind the scenes footage, that looks into the life of one fo the most enigmatic and flamboyant pop stars of our time.

The last and most rivetting feature is What Killed the King of Pop? Michael Jackson’s dramatic death was more than just a loss of a man – it was the befinning of a legacy he’d leave behind. This hard hitting documentary traces the lost months of the singer’s life, examines the circumstances that led to his ultimely passing, and explains the controversy and unanswered questios about a death that many say could have been prevented.

I am hard pressed to imagine anyone not being thrilled to have this box set. I'm someone who thinks that if you truly like and respect an artist then you have to buy his or her studio albums, his dvds and whatever you may like to have of the artist.  I was pleasantly surprised by the package which is very beautifully done and of excellent quality.

If you are a casual Michael Jackson fan and don't want to buy all the studio albums, but want an essence of Michael, then this takes you to his beginnings, his life and his death. I recommend to you to try to get this rare collection. If you are a more hard core fan then that's why you have to have it in your collection.
