Music by Kurt Cobain and Nirvana

Co Produced, Written and Directed By: Brett Morgan

With his birth anniversary this weekend (on 20th February), die hard fans would surely go down memory lane and play Kurt Cobain’s classic songs in memory of one of rocks greatest icon. More than that check this DVD that takes you on a real life session with the man himself, from the cradle to the grave. A perfect tribute.

Cobain like never seen before, is expertly blended with Cobain’s personal archive of his entire life through the eyes of his family and closest friends. The documentary, is an authentic and unflinching look into Kurt's life, art and mind through his own unique lens.  And when we say we mean that we follow him when he was in his undies, his kid days in Aberdeen, WA, rare photos with him and his close friends, to how he formed Nirvana.

The film also showcases an artist who craved the spotlight even as he rejected the trappings of fame. Cobain's childhood of rejection, his outbursts with the press coverage, his drug usage and wife Courtney Love's influence over him. You also have unrestricted access to all of Cobain's home, Cobain’s wife Courtney Love to his only daughter, Frances Bean Cobain. While Courtney talks about how infatuated and in love she was with him, she also blatantly confesses on camera, how she once thought of cheating on Cobain, and how Cobain came to know about it.

On the music and professional side you have loads of footage from various Nirvana performances, former band-mate bassist Kris Novoselic chipping in with his views, the bands day to day progress to the mind-bogglingly meteoric rise of Nirvana's fame in 1991 to the rapid descent, its all covered here. You also get to see and hear unreleased home movies, recordings, artwork, photography, journals, demos, and songbooks.

Smells like Teen Spirit, Come as you are, are just a few of the popular songs you see here, for there’s a lot more. The DVD ends as Cobain concludes an MTV Unplugged gig.
