The duo of Terence Hill and Bud Spencer has been together on many a comedy flick which many fans of comedy have begun to love. One of the best films to feature the duo is this 1981 adventure - suspense filled is ‘Who Finds A Friend Finds A Treasure’ a true family entertainer.

The story begins with Alan (Terence Hill) who is a losing gambler that decides to swindle some mobsters out, but ends up owing the gang $50,000 as gambling debt. As a last resort to get money, he took an ancient treasure map from his uncle and tries to find the treasure. With the map in safely in his pocket he runs away from them only to fall in another trap. He stows away on a small boat captained by Charlie (Bud Spencer) who is about to embark on a world tour sponsored by a marmalade company. Alan begins to move around the boat, but is soon discovered after Charlie finds his breakfast disappears. The friendly talking parrot is too dumbstruck to talk about the intruder. Finally Charlie nabs Alan and in the scuffle Alan is thrown overboard. The good hearted Charlie rescues the stowaway when he sees the sharks and agreed to let Alan stay and work as a sailor. But the gambler in Alan plays a prank on Charlie and directs the boat to an island (Monga Bonga). where he believes there is hidden WWII treasure. When Charlie gets to know of it, he is furious and both end up in a fight that results in both falling into the sea near the coast of the island and their boat sails away.

The duo swim across to the coconut palm tree lined island and expect it to be deserted, but are surprised to find that the island is far from deserted. There are local natives, slavers and a nutty Japanese soldier (Kamasoka) who doesn't know that the war is over. The duo befriend the natives, the Japanese soldier and with their help try to find the treasure. But all is not okay, as pirates and the same gang who wants Alan is also on the trail of the treasure. Who gets it unfurls in one helluva comedy.

The film also has a fairly good music score with songs like Movin’ Crusin’, Where do the children play, Zangiacomo’s Band, Music Never Dies, Corbucci's Island, No, Charming.
