20 Hits you Missed – Cliff Richard

This is an excellent compilation of soft-rock hits by Cliff Richard dating from the late 50s, 60s and 70s. I enjoyed the hits and as a big fan of his, still continue to hear these songs that can never grow old. All very sing a long songs from a man with a great voice.

Cliff Richard was an artist that my whole family would love listening to, so on this LP you get a few of his ballads from early days with the Shadows. You can rewind to songs like the early 1963 hit Do You wanna Dance, Please don’t Tease, On the Beach, Wind Me Up, Nine Times out of Ten and the best of them All my Love.

Flipping over we have the oldies again with Hey Mr. Dream Maker, A Girl Like You, I’m Lookin’ out of the Window that would surely bring back memories when we used to listen to them on replay ode.

While many would claim that most of the kick in Cliff Richard records comes from his work with The Shadows, in one form or another. Not only did they know how to rock, but had the ability to motivate Cliff to make songs that would get his to the top. His voice is in remarkable shape, a time when he was young and singing songs directed straight for the heart, assured and in tune. It was no wonder then that the British lasses found the guy attractive, even though early Cliff didn’t much look anything special.

Indian born Sir Cliff Lane Richard born Harry Rodger Webb, now a Brit citizen, has sold more than 250 million records worldwide. While I don't think that makes him the greatest singer ever, you cannot but notice his beautiful puppy love voice and the neat melody. This package of 20 tracks are not only nice, but its great easy-listening music and very relaxing.

For Cliff fans, what’s not to like this collection? And few of those starting out today, this is the best to check out a singer who is now in his 80s and made music that’s evergreen in a 60-year career.
